Stewart and Lesley MacLennan, from their home in Australia, planned a new adventure for 2008 and beyond. The adventure involved designing and building a boat for the waterways of Europe – and it had to be wheelchair accessible. In late August 2008 they were on board and learning fast!

The 2008/09 journey (documented on our original website, http://www.maclennan.com.au) was spent concentrating on the waterways around the  builders yard in Yorkshire and then lifting and delivering the barge to London (area).

  2. Why the name ‘Endellion’?

In the years from 2010 until 2015 they have continued their travels in France, Belgium and the Netherlands, wintering in Paris.

Our first mooring, post build, at Mirfield.

Hello! Stewart and Leslie, I am Sue Catterall related to the McLennan’s of Kelly’s Plains New England. I have a sister who is about to embark on a sailing venture with three couples around the Turkish Coast next month and I have another sister who is going with her husband and two other couples of a cruise around the Greek Islands and Italy etc. Sounds like you are having a great time. Enjoy.

Hi Iwon .. it is so good to hear from you and thank you for your interest in our adventures. We still prefer Australian wine! Dare we say. But we are getting more educated on good French wine the longer we stay. Our best wishes. Stewart and Lesley
