Lesley’s Birds

I’ve been a keen bird watcher for many years enticed primarily through the fantastic variety we see at Milsons Passage, our little bit of paradise in Australia. I have recorded over 70 birds in this area, just north of Sydney, and have listed them on our website with Stewart’s introduction.

Here in Europe, travelling by water, I am also spotting and photographing (when I can) birds, mostly water birds of course. The most exciting, because of its wonderful colours, was the Bee-eater; we spotted ten or fifteen of them on our way into Gannay-sur-Loire from Diou, in May 2013.

The list of other birds we have recorded along the waterways of Europe can be found on our old website here.
